Small raised ball/lump next to beak

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.

I just noticed a small raised bump on one side of my macaws face. The other side is flat/normal.

The bump is kind of hardish but not "hard".

I will be going to the vet first thing in the morning. But I wanted to post the pics here and seek all your expertise on what it could be and if it is potentially serious or not.

Could be something very simple but like I say time and time again it's better to do a vet visit than not. It could be something simple like a piece of food got stuck there or a feather trying to get through

your mac is super pretty too!

Always good to get a vet check .. it could be nothing or it could be a tumor, and the sooner to catch anything the better. Good luck.
