Strangeness in and Around Macaw’s Eye

Hi. My macaw has developed some strange areas in and around his eye. I’d appreciate any idea as to what this is as I’m getting concerned. Thank you!

is he itching the area often? I can see slight swelling, I'm not sure if it is swollen.

this might be conjunctivitis, since when did you notice, or when do you think it started?

I have not seen that before. Me, I;d get him to a Certified Avian Vet for a check.

Thank you. He does not seem to be itching. Hi eye has looked like this for a long time.

I see. I am no macaw expert, but I think the best thing to do is simply get it examined by a vet rather than wait for the worse, or ask a vet online.

Unfortunately we are literally hours away from the nearest avian vet. Are there any online avian vet sites around?
