Unfortunately I live a couple of hours drive from the closest CAV, so we had been going to a vet who saw birds and consulted with a CAV. I have had a LOT of difficulty getting the birds in to see her when needed - so I finally decided that we were going to find a new vet.
Today I took Baby, Tango and Stanley on a road trip for their well-bird exam with a new vet. I was a bit worried about the long commute (solo with 3 birds) - but they did very well with 4 hours in the car and 2 hours at the vet. So proud of my bubs! Stanley is prone to getting car sick and he did great. Started getting sick 5 minutes from home (on the return trip), so I was able to get him out of the car pretty quickly after he started. The new vet was great - I want to be present during everything and she was very good about accommodating that. The birds behaved very well for her (whew). I got DNA done for them - Iāve always thought that Baby is a girl and Tango/Stanley are boys.....but I will know for sure soon!
Pics attached of them being cute and well-behaved in the exam room
