Sucking thumb?

When my 6 week old jenday conure tries to sleep she gets down to her side and puts her foot in her mouth curled up, her tongue plays with it and she eventually falls asleep! I haven't been able to get a pic or video, it's so cute! Have yours done this?

Some young birds do like to lay on their sides/backs to sleep, though I can't speak to "thumb sucking," but it sounds interesting.....

Oh! My gcc does this too! Shoves her whole foot in her beak haha. Silly buggers aren't they!
