Talking love bird

As at June last year, I obtained two parrots from a local seller.
There were very cut but i never cared to ask of their age but they seemed very young although the were flying very perfectly. Last year, december one of the birds started giving signs of repeating word I called to it. It was the male (skyboy), whenever I shouted it's name, it repeats with a similar sound and syllabuses. I don't know if any of you viewers has a talking lovebird. If any has please video it while it talks and upload it. Paste the url a reply massage.
I can't believe b:green SKYBOY talking soon. Although I just the female b:yellow (TIRA) a few days back. I await you reply.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your lovebirds.....

It is always fun when smaller birds start to talk...virtually any parrot is capable of talking, but many just never learn to or don't want to...it is always up to the bird to learn to talk, there is no training that will teach them.....

Yes, a lot of parrots species are capable of talking. That includes little parrots like lovebirds. I think it is fun and cute when little birds start to talk. The difference is you usually have to pay attention to hear what little birds say. If I am not mistaken a budgie holds the record for most words. I tried to teach my budgie and cockatiel to talk. My budgie would start moving his mouth when I talked (but nothing came out) My cockatiel I had as a smile said hello in a dragged out way hellll000.
