Hi guys.
I have just got a aviary, Violet blue Dom pied hen, she was to good to pass up. She was hand raised and kept as a pet for about 11 months then was traded for breeding purposes and was put in a mixed Aviary for bout 2 years (never been bread from).
My males r hand raised and I have read that 'Gone wild 'birds can be retrained as I don't want any injuries in the mating process with my males.
If anyone has retrained a gone wild bird or you have some advice that would be helpful please let me know.

I'm not sure what your asking? Are you wanting to tame down a bird that would be used for breeding purposes? If so there's no need as the wild female isn't gonna hurt the male just because she's a bit wild.

Thanks MikeTN
That was my main concern of injury during the mating/courting time.
