My first bird was a parakeet named Buddy (passed away November 8, 2012). My newest friend is a parakeet named Chipper.
Cute little birdie! He must be really friendly, he seems so calm in your hand. Congratulations! :)

Lutino Tiel - Jake
Yellow Nape Amazon - Shoku - greatly missed!
I had a budgie similar color to that one once, but had a touch of blue on his back so I named him Sky, since it reminded me of a cloudy sky :). Or you could go a little geek and name him/her hedgewig :)

Call him Owl! Or Bubo, Asio, Tyto, Otus or Ninox (all owl genera). Of course Nyctaea would be the most appropriate, being the Snowy Owl genus. :)

I love owls and I love your dear little birdie - he's so cute!
