I was told she really did not like it so I waited till she was really cuddly and then wrapped her up as part of the petting. As you can see I think she likes it. I was also able to carry her around wrapped up while see checked some new stuff out!

Hahn's macaw, RIP George, Jenday Conure
Hahnzel hates being toweled. He runs around the house like a naked baby while I chase him when its grooming time.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Now would be a good time to introduce this bird to Peek-E-Boo...

That's one of the problems with toweling. People don't introduce the bird to it in a non-stressful way, so that they just readily accept it, and it becomes traumatic at grooming/vet exam time.

This is the RIGHT WAY to do it!
