i need to get a carrier to take Keiko a BG Macaw to the vet tomorrow and I don't know what size, something inexpensive...( by that I mean nothing super fancy) and large enough to put a perch in any help would be much appreciated...If I can't find anything i'll have to take her without one for the time being

I purchased a dog carrier and put towels in the bottom. Some people also drill a hole in the side and install a perch, my sister in law uses an oven rack in the bottom LOL.You can find these pretty easy on craigslist and such or even sales in stores. For Vet visits and things of that nature it is perfect. I wouldn't use it as a travel cage blocks too much view, but for quick trips it works.

I bought the largest plastic dog crate with a handle I could find, for short trips like the vet I just use towels, but for longer trips i do put in a perch
