Weaning Process

We have Sammy, the baby, and an 4 yo White-winged parakeet, Lady. It's a pretty substantial size difference. We haven't let them interact yet, although I have taken Sammy closer to Lady a few times to let him watch her taking treats/nuts from our fingers.

It would be wise to put them close enough that they can see one another, and give them identical food dishes. But still go the hand feeding rout.
