So I have a 2 week ( and 3 days ) old budgie and I don't know what to name him/her. I'm terrible at names...

So...does any one have any name suggestions?

I think this is my third time asking for name suggestions here XD

Also, for those who are concerned about me not knowing how to hand feed birds... I have hand fed and weaned birds before. My father is also a bird breeder so if I am unable to feed my bird because I am busy, my older brother or father can feed him/her.

I’m really terrible with names too. How about Precious, because he/she is :)

Or Lovejoy, if my Lilly had been a male that’s what her name would’ve been.

That's an adorable little birdy. How about Blizzard, Emmett, Diamond or Kaspar?

Soo after a little bit of thinking.. I kinda feel like naming the budgie Mochi. I don't know why but that name just sounds cute.

I'm still thinking though..

What do you think of the name "Mochi"?

Currently I have none, but I have the capacity to adopt a minimum and maximum of two budgies - preferably a bonded pair or two males.
I like to chose names from Epic Poems or from Test Cricket so some suggestions are

Epics

1. Hector
2. Patroclus
3. Achillees
4. Andromache
5. Helen
6. Briseis
7. Aphrodite
8. Satyaki
9. Draupadi
10. Nakula
11. Kannagi

Test Cricket
1. Glenn Mc Grath
2. Rahul Dravid
3. Adam Gilchrist
4. Steve Waugh
5. Mark Waugh
6. Javagal Srinath
7. Wasim Akram
8. Vivian Richard
9. Brian Lara
10. Sachin Tendulkar
11. Mark Taylor

If any of the 22 names appeal to you , you can chose them. Or if you have a small kid- less than 6 years- let them name the bird. They can think of funny names.

I decided to name the bird Mochi. S/he seems to respond to it too. I don't know why, but just seeing the bird reminds me of mochi (Japanese rice cake). I soft squishy little thing.

And a picture of Mochi:

Mochi sounds good. You could add the surname Richards after the West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards! if your like.

Mochi Richards :) has a nice tune !

Baby birds are just so cute! The little white pins kind of make me think a Flurry of snow!
