Well it's taken a few months, and I have to admit there where moments when I wasn't sure this project would ever end, but I've finally finished my Aviary!!

It's 12 ft wide, 14 ft wide and sub divided into 4 play areas. It's super hard to get shots of the interior as it's packed with perches and toys, and I'm a horrid photographer.

Still lots of trim work needed to pretty it up but the kids got to spend the day there yesterday. Watching them explore and play made it all worth while. Best part...by days end they where exhausted and there wasn't a peep out of them.

WOW! You built that yourself Even not "prettied up" it still looks fantastic! Your birds are so lucky, and I bet they will love the spend lots and lots of time out there. So, with 4 play areas, does that mean there are 4 doors or how does that work?

P.S. I love the last picture. What a beautiful flock. They are all so perfect they almost don't look real and like some kind of garden art lol

It would be so super sweet if you could / would share your plans with us? Pleeeeaaase? That is most definitely something I'd like to build once we move to a nicer climate.

Yep, they're all in great feather, and look like well behaved pampered big macs should. It's nice to see them so well cared for. (I've seen enough of the other kind for one lifetime!)
