I've been looking off and on for the last cage to match my others. This morning I found one only 5 miles away, 1/3 the price of a new one in mint condition perfectly clean!!! I will clean and disinfect of course to be sure. I prefer it to be like one of my other ones without tge little feed doors, as quaker wil raise those and drop on head. But I just secure them and never use
Yippee!!!!!

Ok I just moved Penny right in as she has rotated through same exact cage before. Giving her some cage time during daylight hours to adjust. And so I can observe and adjust to her tastes and use. Will be tweaking over next weeks. Probably tweaking everyone else's too. I put next to Pheobe cage to show my preference without the little feeder doors. I have 2 without, and 2 with now. Pheobe can't have rope perches in cage as she will chew them while caged but not while out. They are all unique individuals ❤

PENNY has to have lots of preen stuff, paper seems to work best to help limit her plucking. That rectangle she has always had is her favorite perch.
you will see what helps Cotton best.

Pheobe needs lots of yucca chips and burd bagels and soft wood to chew. And things to move or pick up with feet

Pikachu prefers to chew wood in cage.

Ta-dah...some easy to chew Chinese finger traps, likes to untie leather knots a lot

I had read once in searching for green cheek toys, that they like to untie knots

Update, Penny decided she loves her new csge so much, that she went back in and Pikachu joined her just chilling. Sooo sweet. Normally when i let them out no one ever wants to go back in!
