Lovejoy wanted snuggles very early this morning, and I knew he hadn't offloaded his ENORMOUS morning poop yet so I grabbed a tea towel just in case. Looks like I was right to be cautious!!

It never ceases to amaze me how much poop comes out of such a tiny little bird!!

You can dump dirty bird cage water into your houseplants and give them some natural fertilizer. I wish I could do something useful with the dirty cage paper but it's one of the only things that goes into landfill that has some biodegradable value.

That's why I put the penny next to Joey's epic egg brooding potty! Now shes forgotten about her silly eggs and just wants to be with us again. (Eggs? What eggs?")

Here she is enjoying the best seat during our 7 hour road trip to NJ. Have you ever seen such a dark brown cere on a female budgie? This is where Joey's the happiest.

if you look at her feet you'll see her genetic foot deformities.
The largest rear facing toes on both feet flip under and forward, nails pointing up. She walks on the upper surface of these toes. I pad all her perches to avoid pressure sores.
