Thanks for the update. Wow, that really sucks! I certainly empathize. Thanks for asking, Plax. It dang sure ain't getting any better and the pain has gotten worse. We don't have any health ins. and I'm currently unemployed so $$$ is super tight right now. As soon as we can afford it, I'm getting it x-rayed, something is definitely wrong with it. I am very upset with the 1st place I went, they prescribed 42 antibiotics BUT only 10 pain pills and refused to refill it unless I came in again (meaning more $$ 3 days after the 1st visit). I was actually kidding about the JD but it sure is sounding better and better now. Sleep is almost nonexistent these days as well which ain't helping either. I feel sorry for the wife cause it has created a very large burden on her with me being out of commission.![]()
You can (and probably should) go in to ER. They're not supposed to be able to turn patients away when they have emergency care needs, even if they're not able to pay and are without insurance. A dangerous infection in one's leg that's not improving qualifies as a condition requiring emergency treatment. If one ER won't take you keep trying others until one does!
