Poor little Kiwi. His mommy did not think about wearing tinted lip gloss before kissing on his cute, soft and very light yellow head. Whoops:54: I guess if nothing else, a zon never doesn't want a good soaking bath:p. I hope it all comes off:eek:

I highly doubt he cares! :)

Hahaha! Yeah, April! You're killing his street cred!

What teen boy doesn't want the world to know his mommy gave him a big kiss lol:D If only he could see the top of his head, I think he'd be furious with me. He spends a lot of time and effort making his plumage pretty in case a pretty she blue front ever shows up;)

Well, at least its on the crown of his head and out of the reach of his beak. Lots of oils, creams, and heavy coloring, which is not going to come out with easy.

Try the wet head look and rub those wet feathers with your fingers. With luck some of it will transfer our to your fingers. If you can, a dry cloth passing over the wet feathers may work also. Problem is that lip gloss is designed to resist breaking down when it comes in contact with water.

By the way, if all of a sudden he pulls a heavy "I'm Not Happy With You"! Some one told on you, and he now knows.

Thanks for sharing!

Haha, Kiwi is actually a young man not a teenager and you know that might be even worse to show mom's lip prints . How embarrassing should a girl BFA ever show up LOL :D.

I'll make sure Kiwi and Amy don't meet...until Kiwi looses his "embarrassing mommy smootches" lol

Years ago my Maxi got a big blob of mayonnaise in the exact same place on his head. We made up a mild solution of dishwashing detergent and water and carefully oh so carefully gave him a sink bath working the solution into the greasy feathers. Carefully carefully so as not to get the solution into his eyes nostrils or ears. it worked.

Ha ha Love the pics of Kiwi and he looks very happy too with his mommys lip gloss all over his yellow plumage...I think hes sort of proud of it ...it could start a new fashion among Zons :) :)

Haha. There's a couple of zons around here that I'd like to get a picture of you kissing, lol.

Poor Kiwi! LOL

I've done that exact same thing to miss Zilla a few times, but I'm sure it's different cause she's a girl.
