Another New Member here

Hello everyone. I actually stumbled across this forum by accident. I'm very surprised I had not heard of it until now.

I'm in the Chicago area and rather new to birds. We have had a Quaker for 2 months. We quickly began to enjoy birds and brought home a Red Lored Amazon from a rescue in Wisconsin. The Quaker is my other half's. The Amazon is mine. He is the nicest most cuddly bird I have ever come across. Luckily we ended up at the rescue just hours before he came off of medical hold, making us the first ones able to get our hands on him. Videos below, more pics to come.

Welcome to the forum You have very sweet looking birds. I haven't had much experience with Quakers but a friend of mine took care of an Amazon for a long time. Amazons are wild children. :O) They are total characters. You will definitely enjoy your Amazon.
