Anyone here with Bourke experiance?

I am looking to get a second bird to keep my Lineolated Parakeet 'company' and somenone in my area is rehoming a rosey boruke. All I can seem to find about them is that they are quite and non aggressive. Can anyone tell me more?

hi, i have 4 rosy bourkes and they are quiet and non aggressive. similar size to budgies, they are more active at dusk,and like to forage on the ground. they are quite shy of people but get on with other non aggressive birds, as they don't stick up for themselves if they get pecked on! they are quite sweet though, mine arn't hand tame, just indoor aviary birdies. x

They seem to kinda be like the finches of the parakeet world! Lineolated are the greatest little parakeets ever! Here's my Linnie being crazy!

Hi Linnielover! I agree that Linnies are great birds. I did own a Bourke as well but I made a careless mistake, and I lost him. Kirby was beautiful, quiet, and totally non aggressive. I trusted my Canary with him, but didn't allow Levi(Linnie) or the Budgies to be out when he was.
