Appeal to your inner parrot

I made this toy with a Willow ball, and cheap stuff from bird safe bird store stuffed inside, paper straw, shredder paper, ECT.
Took a week for a parrot to be brave enough to play! Lol Pikachu stepped up!

NEAT!!! I have a willow tree, I might try to do something similar! I didn't know it takes a long time for them to want to play with toys.

Great idea Laura! We make some of Salty's toys. We have the large plastic balls which we stuff with paper towels. We also use any part of old toys that have not been destroyed and re-purpose them. Right now he is on a kick with anything that is made from wicker reeds, going thru them in 2 days, which as you know, can add up to one very expensive habit! I picked up a bag of wicker cups, so we just restring the wood parts from the last toy, and he is happy.

Thanks! I thought it would tickle their fancy .....but then I had to wait , and wait , to see if they would be playing with it!
Finally!!! And Neptune and Ta-dah have played with it now to.

I was getting worried , but a week is not very long in bird time!
