are these good cages

Looks like an alright cage, although I'm not a fan of the double grates and trays. Just feels like more cleaning to me.

That's actually a pretty good deal and a nice sized cage but a single tray and a single grate would of been better as my macaw cage is single tray and grate with the same width and length. But I can't see the locking mechanism part as they won't let you increase the size any bigger or clear.....That's the part that's important to me when deciding on cage purchase for Willie. And I dunno how I feel that there's no screws or nuts to hold the cage together???

I has a double spring and it screws in to lock so the so you have to unscrew pull and then slide to unlock

I have a huge Ferret Nation cage that assembles with no screws/bolts and it's very solid, I love it. Also super easy come cleaning time, you can take it all apart or take off sections in seconds to take outside to clean.

I have a ferret nation cage to I think they made by same company Midwest

I'm not sure I'd use a ferret nation cage for a macaw... granted I haven't seen one of these cages in person so I'm not positive but I'm guessing a macaw could make short work of the bars if he wanted out. You need the right bar gauge for a macaw or he could rip the cage apart. Gotta love those beaks:52:

I thought you already had a cage????

im getting a blue and gold in like 3 months and just and just wanted to see if I got a big eough cage is 60'' H x 40'' W x 30'' D and that's inside
it came with 3 perches and 4 dish I got about 10 toys and a play stand the food a breeder told me to get
and a book on how to train macaw

I got a lot of other stuff for the macaw to and just wanted to know if I need anything else

...

I don't think anyone meant to place a macaw in a ferret nation cage.... but it was more about the comment of bolt-free cages that require no screwdrivers to assemble.
