Avian Behavior/Training/Enrichment Workshop

Hi Everyone!

I'm in the process of organizing an avian behavior/training/enrichment workshop at the EcoTarium in Worcester, MA. The workshop will be taught by Lara Joseph (www.larajoseph.com) and topics will include, solutions to common behavioral problems in companion parrots, husbandry behaviors in parrots and raptors, and enrichment ideas for parrots and raptors. It'll be held on August 18 from 10:00-2:00.

I've been having one heck of a time trying to get people to sign up for it, and I've given information about it anywhere and everywhere I could possible think of! If there are any parrot owners/trainers from MA out there that wouldn't mind spreading the word, it would be greatly appreciated. More info can be found on Lara's website above. I would love for this to be a success, so I'm open to any help or suggestions!

that sounds like a wonderful idea!!! i cant go but believe me i would if i could, my heart skipped a beat out of excitement when i read that. i'll be sure to tell all my birdie friends!!! have you considered creating a facebook page to let people know about it? hope it all works out

I would have LOVED LOVED LOVED to see Lara Joseph!!!! She is great and I bought some of her toys which are great too! But these workshops seem to always be on Saturdays and I work 9 to 4

What a shame that both of you can't make it!! Good idea about making a facebook page or event for it though. I'm definitely going to do that.
