Gilbert wanted no part of the holiday card photo shoot this time. Well, he wanted to OBSERVE the dogs getting decked out, but not to be bothered with the nonsense himself. I decided "Poo, you don't mind this" and just put the costume on him. He decided to show me how it was going to go, and flew away, LOL. Don't argue with a winged child. This photo captures his level of participation.

HAHAHA, I never gave this any thought but.....do birds even have "a lap"? They don't really SIT with their legs out. What a strange image in my mind right now.

He's so awesome! I want a blue crowned conure so bad! Blue crowns are one of my favorite birds. Is he cuddly? I'm guessing he doesn't mind body handling too much if he let's you put a flight suit on him, haha.

He is very snugly actually and loves to be touched and kissed and all that. He is so compliant it is like I am waiting for the day that he changes!! (As it seems too good to be true!) He is easy going by nature and I do my best to do nothing to break this bond or betray his faith in me and I am hoping we keep this relationship for many years !!

Thank you! I had thought it was just funny because he was being so naughty and refused to "pose" but then some of my friends said they love it too, so I put it as the backer on my Holiday cards with a caption: "Santa doesn't need any stinking reindeer!!" It looks hysterical somehow.
I had envisioned this sickeningly cute photo of all four of my "kids" together, all decked out, but we went with a collage!!
