Beautiful! And well worth the wait! When I first met Bixby I was told he was 4-5 weeks old, but after some research I came to suspect he was closer to 7+. These pics further corroborate my theory, as this is pretty close to how Bixby, a fellow red-sided, looked at the time.

Well...Pazu moved to a cage today! Doing quite well..and he LOVES Mango puree!
He also showed us tonight for the first time, that he has learned how to bark like a real dog. Oh dear... haha.

Sweet, Liana! He is looking so beautiful! When Bixby was at around this stage, he was at his absolute loudest. Is that the case with Pazu as well? Or do his daily interactions with you cut down on that?

And amazing that he's begun mimicry, already! Barking like a dog, eh? Hahaha! He's going to be quite the talker!

Oh, what's up with those eggs? Does he definitely have siblings on the way?

Wow it's amazing to see how they start off all naked, and little. Then they turn in to these beautiful creatures. I enjoyed your picture journel, watching your baby grow. He sure is beautiful. Thanks for the journey.

Thanks Stephen! Haha, no he's VERY quiet. Had him out in the main room yesterday for a couple of hours while a friend was over. So her and i were chatting away and the 3 kids were playing right in front of us..so it was a bit noisy. He just sat there and watched, made a little bit of noise for about 10 minutes (joining in), and then started talking to me with the 'i want attention!' noise...so i just put him in my lap and he snuggled into the corner of my lap/arm and fell asleep. ^^ So cute!

Haha yep. But only when he thinks no ones around

They are due to hatch next week they SHOULD hatch, so it's almost certain that he has siblings on the way!

He really is Karen! Loves scritches from strangers too haha.

OH MY GOSH! I think I just had a mini heart attack! Walked into the room to see Pazu on the floor of the cage (normal) on his BACK (NOT normal!) with both his legs in the air and one toenail touching the bottom of the rope perch! I FREAKED and called his name, kisses.. No response.. I open the cage and pet him.. No response.. I poke him and he jumps and hops up... I awoke him from a nap... He was PERFECTLY happy and fine. *puts hand over my chest* My poor poor heart!!!

Wow! Yeah, that would've given me a bit of a coronary, too! Scary!

Yeah! Terrifying! He's been a bit grumpy with me since then.. every time i walk in he gives me this look..as if to say,
"I know what you did...:20_grumpy I haven't forgotten, that you so rudely JABBED me awake from my comfy nap... I require compensation."
So I have to give him cuddles and kisses for aa few minutes before he's pleased with me again haha. Poor boy..

Well! Pazu now weighs 430g!

He was moved to the BIG cage in the loungeroom yesterday. *applauds* Poor boy was so stressed all day, then had proper cuddles at night but he wouldn't give me kisses because everything was just so new... Then this morning he wouldn't shut up with his happy hiccups..and then today he started making kissing, squeaking, a pathetic excuse for an Ambulance Siren, and adorable kitten-like mew noises. Also started cleaning himself today, but only after i cleaned the poop off him down with a wipe. And he figured out (overnight!) how to get DOWN from a perch..haha...Last night he got up fine but then couldn't get down lol. I put him on the bottom of the cage because he kept trying to flatten himself on the rope perch to sleep... He now sleeps on the bottom of the cage like a flat feathery pancake! I think I will always freak at that sight!!!

The bad news: he has become very cage aggressive towards my husband, Loki, and lunges each time Loki's hands go near the cage.. however he's perfectly fine if the cage door is left open. He's fine with the kids, but not Loki. Hmm..... Also, he LOVES our sons dinner mix.... we let him taste it tonight. It contains: pumpkin, potato, peas, sweet potato, brocolli, carrot, and cooked minced beef. If there was no beef in it I'd have given him more.

OOOOOH and his pretty blue Aviator Harness & Leash arrived today! Will start training him with that in a couple of days once he's COMPLETELY settled in this 'new' environment.

Glanced towards the cage last night when I was feeding my 4 month old baby, Chad, and this is what I saw... According to Loki, Pazu is a Ninja Spy in disguise!

AAAH, Pazu is looking adorable!! He's gotten big REALLY fast, I keep forgetting this has only been a little over a month.

Hmm..... Also, he LOVES our sons dinner mix.... we let him taste it tonight. It contains: pumpkin, potato, peas, sweet potato, brocolli, carrot, and cooked minced beef. If there was no beef in it I'd have given him more.

Mmmm sounds like a perfect October/Halloween meal if you ask me

He's growing so fast and he's gorgeous. I'm sorry but it cracks me up how he is trying to sleep. I still crack up about you finding Pazu sleeping spread out on the bottom of his cage. I would have freaked too but it's funny how he sleeps hard and totally relaxed, lol! You may have to make him a little bed to go in that cage so he can spread out, lol. He's gorgeous and I hope he warms up to your husband.
