Sorry i wasn't able to give yall updates like i planned about the babies. Between my keyboard dying a bad fibromyalgia flair up and my mom being in and out of the hospital and raising 8 chicks i've been busy and tired. But 10 of the eggs hatched one did not. And either i miss counted and there where only 11 eggs or the got rid of the other two. All the babies are thriving and the oldest ones are just learning how to fly. I have homes for 7 of them lined up im glad for that. My favorite one is going to my youngest sister so ill still get to play with it AND she promised not to just dump him on me later :09:

Two of them i had to leave with there parents to raise because as soon as i pulled them Tiki started getting broody again and i didn't want a repeat. A breeder said she was interested in those two when they are weaned which takes a huge load off my mind because they have a home to go to. I know i wish i could keep them all or even one, BUt I know they are going to good homes. Half of them in town so i can visit XD. The only thing im worried about now is if I can get petri tiki and hotrod back to being pets if i seperate them. Or if separating them would stress them out to much.

Awww! I love baby birdie photos! It will be tough to say goodby to those little darlings. I'm glad you have good homes lined up for them. I hope Tiki, Petri, and Hotrod get back to being happy pets without too much trouble.

Im just glad they all seem healthy and happy, though having 6 of them learning to fly right now is a bit of a ........chaotic worrying laugh riot. One of the was hovering in front of the wall for 5 seconds before he decided to test if it was really there >< . Thankfully he wasn't going fast and just kinda fluttered to the floor after a light thump But still. He was right in front of it and its been there his whole life =P so they may not be the brightest of creatures. Bt man is it entertaining and when they all want to cuddle at onces... its a great feeling. But honestly ....ill be a little glad when im not caring for all these birds. Its alot of work. There are still three unclaimed if anyone is in the Central Arkansas area =P
