Bath Night Photos

Usually I mist the flock with a water spray bottle, with them getting a little misting every day, and a full soaking with the spray bottle at least twice a week.

With newcomer Gerry's plucking behavior and itchy new growing feathers, I've recently increased his bathing so that he's getting a good soaking in the human shower at least every other day, as well as spray bottle mistings.

So for the first time this evening, Bella and Dexter got a full blown proper shower too - instead of getting mega spray bottle treatment.

When Gerry gets soaked, he gets a little fuzzy mane. Gerry was pretending to be Nike the Hawkheaded parrot in this picture


Here's Dexter looking like butter wouldn't melt... whilest stood on his 'hump duck', I strapped the duck to the tree stand, so the 'hump duck' has become 'bondage duck'!


Bella has a tendency to shrink when wet - but she did chatter while getting a blow-dry!
