Bathtime at the wrong time!

I'm pretty sure my little stinker did this on purpose! I had just put River in his cage because it was just about birdie bedtime. He usually runs to his food dish to stall for time. Tonight he ran over to his water dish to dive in for a bath! When he takes a bath, I always take him out and cuddle him in a towel until he dries so he doesn't get a chill. I'm thinkin my clever little stinker was REALLY stalling to get out of bedtime this time! lol

That's funny because my two always let me know when it's bedtime for them. Skittles climbs into their cage and passes back and forth until I put buddy in there with her. Then they make their cute little noises for a few minutes.

That's really adorable—though I'm sure frustrating at the same time
However, you're lucky your bird likes to be held in a towel while being cuddled. My bird used to make a nest in my hair while rolling and preening himself till he was dry. haha.

Awe how cute! My Mother came over last night to help me (food poisoning) and cleaned the cages while she was over. Paco dived into his water dish and proceeded to splash water all over the clean bedding so it had to be replaced. He never takes a bath in his dish, only the sink. I'm pretty sure he did it just to mess with her.

That is too cute! Just like a little kid stalling before going to bed!

My guys tell me when they want to go to bed. Kayak climbs in her cubby and Carlisle sits on top of his and starts saying "goodnight" over and over. Kayak enjoys bathing in her water dish... only after I've changed the water/cleaned the cage and replaced the papers. Carlisle likes to bathe in the sink and I'm sure he'd bathe in his water dish except for its too small.
