A friend sent this to me. Her friend sent it to her. It was on her 30 gallon trashcan!:11:
It is a Coconut crab. The largest edible crab. Found in Tropical India and Pacific islands. It weighs 40 lbs and eats coconuts by breaking it open with it's pinchers!
It could feed a whole dinner party! LOL!
And you're afraid of spiders?

As I am sitting here I can hear my Bird Eating Tarantula knocking against the glass and that is at least 6 meters away! BEAUTIFUL!

That first photo is absolutely stunning, I'd love to see them one day. Maybe they have small dustbins?

This crab picture was taken at a detention center on a tropical island of the pacific. They are land dwellers and spend thier time in trees. Many people of the islands keep then as pets like hermit crabs, which they are related to.
They are said to taste like lobster! Could you imagine 40 lbs of yummy lobster at one sitting?
