Bingo is going to the doctor

I'm sure there are things in our food we shouldn't be eating but I just can't worry about it because it's so overwhelming and so difficult to avoid or control.

The things that bother me most are manufactured (processed) foods, the insane plastic packaging everything, food and nonfood, comes in, and how even our homes are being made of plastic.

I cringe every time I read the label on some "food" item and in addition to the recognizable, like meat, fish, vegetables and grains, there's a long list of chemicals and a use by date years in the future. And words on the package like "made with real processed American cheese food". WTF? Why not just CHEESE?

I cringe every time I take something out of plastic packaging and have to throw said packaging away. Plastic wrappers, containers, bottles, tubs, lids.

Even our houses are being made out of plastic! Trim, gutters, windows, siding, shutters, piping, and even some "lumber" and fasteners are PLASTIC of some sort. What happened to wood and metal? People say plastic doesn't rot or rust, llke that's such a great thing, but I don't want my footprint around for hundreds or thousands of years after I'm gone! Let my house decay when it gets too old just like my own body will someday.

Sorry. I just had to get this off my chest.

Was watching a video review of frozen burritos.
One of them the tortilla was made with avocado oil.
I could easily give a corner of the thing to my birds and be in real trouble without realizing it.

Gotta read food labels when you have birds that want your food (and not theirs)!

There's more than one reason I live like how I do.

I seen a YouTube vid last year a isolated off-grid homesteading couple made. The wife was having trouble losing weight or something and one of the things they finally did was get her blood tested. LOADED with forever chemicals. If they're so marinated, the rest of us stand zero chance of avoiding the stuff.

I try my best, but I do keep in perspective that no matter how good a job any of us does at looking after ourselves, our stories all end eventually in some way or another. Nobody and no thing gets out alive in the end, even the universe itself will probably end one day. I just do my best and that's all anyone can do.

And, unfortunately, plastic does break down. Into smaller n smaller pieces. Sun, wind, rain, temperature it all breaks it down and faster than folks realize. Makes it nice n small n easy to get into our bodies. The caves near here are undergoing research having the dust swept up n analyzed to look at the microplastics coming off the people's *clothes* who go explore the caves.

Sorry, my fone been acting up today so if it does something strange when I post this that's why 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️
