hi guys and gals..
I have a bird that has a funny looking wing it stays fanned out and the main feathers r standing upright like something is preventing them from sitting in the normal position.
Could this be new feathers pushing there way through causing the other feathers to distort?
cheers:green1:

I know what you mean about them cooling off but this I one wing only .
Its sort of like she's missing some feathers causing het flight feathers to stand in a upright position I will try get a pic.

They will do that when thry have a feather misplaced where it's protruding where it shouldn't be. Have you lifted his wings to check them out???

Yeah I had a look and the feathers only have one side to them ... so imam just go to the vet. She might be having a serious moult as she is about two.

That's a good choice to go with to go see a vet cause you'll rest easier knowing your baby is ok! :)

I've just given her another inspection and it seams like the feathers above the elbow have been broken off some how and on the topside of her wing is more like down than feathering
