Parrots
Lilac Crowned Amazon (Bacci- Forever on my shoulder, forever in my heart.)
Yellow Collared Macaw (Loki the Monkey Bird)
Military Macaw (Wingnut)
Citron Crested Cockatoo
(Knuckles)
Who are THESE angry birds, and where have my sweet birdies been taken?

I have been bitten by each of them today, and my boyfriend got it from both Wingnut, and Loki, and would have got it from Knuckles as well, were he able to come within 15 feet of her, without her running away.

They're just CRANKY. I'm wondering if the schizophrenic weather we are having in NY has anything to do with it. There have been forty degree temperatures daily for the last week or so. Could they be reacting to this atmospheric nightmare?

I hope so, because I cant cope with all three of them using me for target practice.

It is St. Patrick's Day... did you forget to wear green??? ;) But seriously, the weather in Utah is making the kids in my class absolutely NUTS! They always get compliments on their hallway behavior, but today 2 different teachers, on 2 separate occasions, came down to report my class for misbehaving!!! (Almost 50 degrees & sunny first recess, windy & snowing again this afternoon.) If it can affect the kids, it can affect the fids! Yup, definitely the weather! Good Luck!!!

My guys are all acting like they've lost their minds too...I hope it is the crazy weather.
Ekko kept getting on the floor and charging me today, screaming NO!

Ivory was a bit of a handful, not really biting, but kinda beaky (not normal for her at all). I put it off to the extended sun and then time change. I have been putting Ivory to bed a little earlier and it helped a great deal with her attitude :)

yeah birdie hormones...

Kiwi was also being a bit feisty today, he was throwing his toys and decided he was very displeased with my choice to eat a can of tropical fruit for lunch (he's usually quite fond of that, there's pineapple in it). His may be recent routine changes though, but I'm betting it was the weather ;)

Does mass hysteria affect parrots?

I'm guessing it's daylight savings plus the weather. I'm in PA and Indy my Sennie drew blood on me for the first time since I got her. :( She's also been running a bit hot & cold with her attitude for the past week. Chico and Raj have even been getting bitey. They go from loving nibbles to pretending my flesh is a tough piece of steak they are trying their hardest to get through.
Please Mother Nature just let my birds be happy and my fingers remain intact. Pretty please. I'll even bake cookies. :)

Cleary, all of your birds are stark raving mad and you should all sleep with one eye open...:D
