I've seen them, but, have no experience owning one. I understand that in addition to being very expensive, they can be a bit difficult. (A cockatoo, difficult?) The only one that I've ever touched was at a bird show/fair. It was very friendly, and beautiful. It knew a few words, and was well behaved. It stepped up for me, and let me pet its' head. It was not for sale. Just on exhibit.
