Bowl washing with well water and sediments are coming out of the tap

Hi guys!

I have well water in my home, and use the tap to rinse my baby's bowls.

Recently, I noticed that there were some sort of sediments coming out of the sink. It's possibly either sand/silt/sediment from the well (we've had more rain than usual), or some sort of filtration media coming from our water conditioner.

I have no other means of rinsing the bowls of soap unless I rig something up, so I'm just looking for some insight on whether y'all would trust bowl washing with this water, even if I only let him DRINK bottled water.

If you are not feeling comfortable with the well water at the moment, you could wash them up business as usual, and then rinse them from boiling water like from the tea kettle. Good Luck

Let what ever you use to boil water sit full after use with a tablespoon spoon of white vinegar. Rinse well. Boil water and strain through a coffee filter. Especially the drinking water. Even your regular coffee or tea pot will be happy about this.

Mine are on well water.
However what I give them to drink is RO and I wonder if that might be a mistake as the RO takes out everything

My bro is on well water, and he regularly has it analyzed, since a past well went salty one day.

We’re on well water. All the animals and people drink it. Personally, I would have no problem rinsing the bowls even with sediment in the water, since they aren’t actually drinking that water in your case.

Thank you for the insight, folks! I've been washing with bottled water until the conditioner guy comes out, but the ideas with boiling water and vinegar are great!
