I'd like to introduce myself here. I have two Pacific Parrotlets and two Fischer lovebirds. I owned several birds in the past, in particular a peach-faced lovebird that really tweaked my interest in parrot type birds. I've been involved in dog rescues for about 15 years, and we currently have 5 dogs, a cat, the birds noted above, goldfish and koi in a pond. I take pet ownership very seriously and feel that responsibility. For some reason I have always been drawn to the runts, the animals in trouble, the neglected, the abused, etc. Just something in my nature. I'm joining because I may need some advice and help with my birds, and to offer other people any expertise I may have.
