My green cheek pulled out a blood feather an hour ago. There was no visible blood anywhere but directly from where she pulled it. I put cornstarch on it to be safe. But I have never seen a blood feather with this base before. Did she pull it out whole? Is that skin? Does it look broken?
My first instinct was obviously to take her to a vet, but all vets within an hour can't fit us in, and her regular vet is out for two weeks. I'm planning to put on more cornstarch later just in case. Anything else I should do?

From here I can't really tell if there's any portion of the feather shaft left in your GCC's skin, but it would appear that she's done a pretty good job of pulling it all out, particularly if there's no bleeding. You have definitely done the right thing in applying corn starch, that hopefully should stop any bleeding that may occur, and it sounds to me like you'll be keeping a very close eye on her to make sure the bleeding doesn't start up again. Hopefully it won't irritate her and she won't chew on it, but you've got the corn starch ready if she does and really if she's got it all out then it shouldn't cause her too much more trouble.
