So I thought I better give an update on Bundii.

She is going well and will be 6 in a little over 2 weeks. She is not talking but has much a wonderful personality. She is very stubborn and determined.

She has finally worked out that she can use her wings to get to where she wants to be. She used to only fly whe she was spooked but since we have moved house she has become a more confident flyer. She now flys to the pantry and sits in there happily tearing up papers. She will fly to hubby's shoulder, something that I never thought she would do. So say that I was so so so proud of her would be an understatement.

She is behaving herself with my parents being there at the moment. She has been happily sitting on my mums shoulder and going for little walks around the house.

I will add some more recent photos when I get home next week.

Beautiful Bundii! I'm so glad to hear she's doing well and using her wings a lot more. Barney and Madge send their best regards. XXX

Sweet! Bundii needs to have a talk with my Maya! She's still in that "only flying when startled or extremely desperate to get to me" mode, and I'd love for her to become a more confident flier as well.

Does Millie fly as well? And how do they get along?

Looking forward to those updated pics!

There's that lovely girl! I'm glad Bundi is doing so well and enjoying flight benefits! Thanks for the update, looking forward to more photos.

The girls get along fine. I don't let them interact closely yet as Millie is so much bigger and is still a little rambunctious. Millie tends to play rough and Bundii is so not a rough player. They both hang out on their respective cages at the opposite ends of the couch. Neither have shown any aggression of any type at all. Millie does occasionally fly to Bundii's cage but Bundii usually just goes inside away from the crazy big green bird. :D

Millie does fly but the breeder gave her a light clip before we brought her home. She generally only flys short distances and downwards. She has such a different flying style to Bundii but I guess that has to do with the size of them.

Bundii is such a gorgeous girl!

Beautiful Bundii birdie! She looks so healthy and GREEN (have I mentioned I really like green birdies?) Barney and Madge are looking their best at the moment too - must be something in the air. :) They certainly send their love and best wishes to their dear friend Bundii and her sister, Millie. XX

Trish, I too am a bit fond of green birdies. I have a big little green bird (Millie) and a little little green bird (Bundii). :D
