Well, the good news is there’s nothing obviously wrong with Ava. Her bloodwork and gram stain came back normal. The bad news is we don’t have any answers. So, $500 later, we’re going to continue monitoring and try some apple cider vinegar in her water. So happy she seems to be okay though!

Oh I’m so glad to know you got those results back already without too much of a wait, and that all seems to be well, if a little inconclusive. ACV has worked for my birds under similar circumstances so I hope it does the trick for Ava as well

Apple cider vinegar is fermented sour apple cider, isnt it?. How does it help parrots with unidentified GI problems?
