CAG vomiting

Hello,
For just the past 2-3 days (as far as I've noticed) my 7 month old male CAG has been vomiting and/or regurgitating. It hasn't happened too many times, maybe one or two times per day. He bobs his head low several times and sometimes something comes up. A few times he has done it on or around me and he didn't seem to be in any distress, the vomit itself seems to be barely chewed up and undigested pellets. I'm hoping he's just being loving and wanting to share his food, but a few times he has flicked his head back and forth and others online have said that's a sign of vomiting. My wife said that when she was getting up early this morning she saw him doing the bobbing and that worried me because he was still sleeping and definitely wasn't in bond mode. The behavior has often coincided with panting and he isn't acting strange at all otherwise. I don't have an avian vet in my city. Any suggestions? Responses from those with experience will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like he's bringing up food from his crop to me... but I would have to see it.

Any signs of illness? If he's behaving normally, I wouldn't think much of this one.

But I have two macaws puking on me, it seems like, every single day... so I might tend to take this one lightly.

I'm not so familiar with CAGs, but 7 months seems a wee bit young to be regurgitating as much as you say. THAT combined with the panting may be a reason for concern.

How far is your closest avian vet?

There are online avian vets that charge a small fee for consultation, if you want to consider that route.

Thanks for the replies so far! As for the "panting", I might not have used the best word. He has always made that sound as long as I've had him, particularly when he's excited. I've seen other greys make the exact same sound in videos on YouTube, so I wasn't concerned about that. It's not a pant as such, like with his tongue out like a dog, it's more of a very audible breathing sound.

It seems like he is regurgitating because when parrots throw up the move their head back and forth but when they regurgitate they move their head up and down. Hope this helps!
