Hi, I will be taking home a Hahn's macaw soon! the lady at the bird store said macaws like the extra space so I should get a dome top and a tabletop mobile playtop instead of a playtop, because the playtop has a flat "roof" and the dome, of coarse has a dome. Do you guys think I should get the dome, with the mobile playtop, or the playtop bird cage? Both are 24" by 22" by 60".

We have the dome and a play stand. Bob's cage is in his own room, and to big to move, so we can move the playstand where we are.

I would think that the dome would be 'wasted space'. I could be wrong, I've never used one. I love my playtop, its removable & I can use it on any tabletop.

Yea, I think the dometop is a good idea, It is just a matter of an extra 50 bucks...but I do like the idea of taking the playtop anywhere. We have a guy out here that makes parrot playtops!

We do have a playtop cage for Mondo, he loves it!
Bob seems to like climbing more then playing.
