Chestnuts??

:red: I was wondering if I can give my birds chestnuts. I cant find information one way or another.
Does anyboby know if there safe? If so, do they have to be roasted or can they be offered raw??

I was going to post the same question! I love them roasted and was wondering if tey would be alright.

I have given my amazons raw chestnuts in the past with no ill affects, only 1 or 2 at a time. Don't know of any problem with chestnuts, but i would think raw is better than roasted.
