Pretty sure I've read somewhere you can feed conures chillis because the eat doesn't affect them?
I have some mild to decent heated chillis out the back and if some can be eaten by the bird then may as well see.
Only if it is safe?

It doesn't affect them because they don't have saliva (or something like that)
I've fed my guys all kinds of chillies and they love it. I think mostly jalapeño but not sure (whatever woolies has!)

Not sure about chillies out the back... do you use chemicals on them? I can't really help here but I'm sure someone else can! Can't see why it wouldn't be ok though.

They dont have the taste buds to taste the heat! haha we have over 3000 taste buds and i think parrots only have like 900 or something like that but ya if you don't use chemicals and no wild animals have been in contact with them then i would think its perfectly safe to give them some:)

You can always dry bake them at a low temp if you're concerned about bacteria, but generally a good wash with vinegar to clean off any dirt should be fine.
