Clucking and 'dancing'...????

Is it a mating dance? Hormones? Whats going on???

Jackie will make these clucking noises (almost thought she turned into a chicken!) while doing a side-step dance and puffed feathers.

Lol oh great... I think she does her dance towards a certain toy on her cage- should I remove the toy?

Ohhh good question, I don't know.
A lot of people do recommend moving it.
I leave Bosley's and he always does it near one toy, but it only last a few minutes and I don't have to worry about egg laying.

What I do know is remove anywhere where she may try and make a nest
Make sure she gets her 12 hours sleep a night and cut back on starches and protein rich foods.

I don't thinks she's a girl, LOL. Never know, i doubt taking away the toy will make it go away. It might last of a couple of months and then disappear til next year. Sometimes controlling amount of light ,Higher humidity, exercise, and low fat foods will help "curb" the urge.

Ok, I'll just leave it then..

She doesn't really have anywhere in/on/around her cage to make a nest.. And i think she gets plenty of sleep- covered when the sun goes down, and uncovered when I get up... So about 12 hours.

LOL... I always thought Codie was a Girl until I decided to have a DNA test done and yes, you have probably guessed, he is in fact a boy

Lately Jackie's started regurgitating, but only next to 2 certain toys he has on his cage-top play area... So far he hasn't done it on or next to me lol
