cockatiel molting

my cockatiels feathers are growing back in different colors than when they fell out is this common? a sign of aging? any ideas? ust curious thanks she is a cinnamon pearl but alot of the feathers around her wings are growing in white she is 4 years old this has never happened. I'm not freaking out just very curious if it is do to diet or something

When we first got Gemini, he was nearly all white, as he has gone through a moult, the feathers have come back in as grey, I think we mess about with their colours that we can never be sure they will stay the same. Gemini is a little older than Misty now. I really don't think its anything to do with diet it seems to be a common thing with tiels of different colouring. Not sure why
