You know, one of my hardest moves was moving right across the street...I didn't put anything in boxes and made 1000 trips, it seemed like
It will make it alot easier having most of your things in storage - and all your stuff will feel new again after not having it for awhile

I still have a trailer-load of stuff I need to get from when I moved out of my mom's house 3 years ago lol. I can't remember what stuff I've accumulated, but I bet there's going to be a dump truck load worth of stuff I'll be getting rid of!! Hahaha

We have some carts and wagons I can use to haul stuff over there.

Everything on the inspector's list we needed to finish, has been done!

The septic inspector should be back tomorrow- she was out at the beginning of this week to sign off on the septic, but the paperwork wasn't here [emoji37]

And the regular inspector should be here tomorrow too, so we **might** pass occupancy tomorrow!!

Now I have to go to the store to buy some totes to start packing....I hate packing.

Well, first night in the house went smoother than I thought...although Jed decided to wake up with the sun at 6:30[emoji15] he had a blast last night swiffering the floors, and chili spent the whole evening clung to me and wanted to be wherever we were. She has never spent the night alone, and I didn't want to leave her in our old place, so we carried her cal-cage over (it doesn't roll very well on gravel!) and then I stuffed her in my sweatshirt and swiftly carried her over lol Thankfully she slept on her mulberry branch (too scared to sleep in her cage). At first she was nervous about such a big new place, but she seems to be taking everything in stride- she's always been good about change.

She loved checking out the bathrooms!

I'm tired this morning, and there's lots to do today!!

I am so glad you are finally in there & that Chili and Jed are adjusting I can only imagine how much work there is left to do, but putting your things away and decorating is going to be such fun!

We're slooooowwwwwwwly getting all of our stuff brought over, but my leg is KILLING me!! [emoji30] stupid sciatica...
Anyways- the birds are in the living room for now, and I'm desperately trying to find a flight cage for the budgies that I can pick up today or tomorrow, if not I'll order one online.... Chili's cage looks tiny now that it's in the house lol

She's doing pretty well today- back to causing mischief and whatnot lol

The budgies were crammed into one cage this morning while I brought them over
