Hello, my GCC has been doing this for a while now but is doing this a lot more now and is beginning to spit up food with it. When he gets curious of some objects he'll go up to them, bite them, then do a weird dance sort of thing and spit up some food then swallow it. I've attached a video link which you can view the video and hopefully tell me what this behavior is, and if I should take him to the vet for this. Just a quick note again, he's been doing this since we got him but has begun to do it a lot lately. Thanks again for the help :gcc:

It is called regurgitation, he is trying to feed that cute little penguin

So it's kinda like instinct? He thinks that he's supposed to feed the objects? I mean, he's pretty stupid in the head.. it would make sense that he would do something like that XD

He may be thinking that little buddy is a baby. It is not bad but I wouldn't encourage it. I would keep that penguin away from him.

yep just regurgitating to his little penguin friend. May seem weird they do it to a inanimate object but it's purely instinct based. In the wild they would bond with another bird and regurgitate for them and any babies they have. With the object in question in a domestic setting they want to bond so will do so with whoever or whatever they spend time with, then instinct kicks in and they offer up a nice home cooked meal for the object of their emotions
