KiKi 2yr old GCC
Now that KiKi has settled in - so much less cage aggression and finger lunging, yay! - I've noticed that she isn't fantastically interested in her toys. She has a couple different kinds (woodblocks of differen colors and shapes, foraging/shreding wicker thing, mirros on an axis that spins when she pushes it, colorful fuzzy balls on a string, etc.) but nothing I've ever seen her like omg yay this thing is so cool and fun to pull on/play with.

I want to start T-stand training her and I'd like to find a couple toys that she really gets excited about so I can put the on the T-stand so she is happy to be there. Any suggestion?

Also I have been watching/exposing her to other things to see what she likes. I've also done a little bit of rearranging to see if that helps but it doesn't seem like anything is too interesting to her.

Things she really likes: the sounds of plastic bags, as odd as that is! If I hold a plastic bag in my hand and shake or crinkle it she gets so excited and will chase it around but won't play with it on her own if I leave it for her or if she "catches" it while chasing it.

It could be that she hasn't realized that her toys are fun yet. When I first got my GCC she didn't play with her toys at all, she didn't even touch them, she only liked this one ball and only while i played with it with her. It took her a month to start playing with her toys alone. Now she plays all the time.
I found that any toys that were bigger than her and bulky, she never played with.
Maybe try something with thin wood parts that are easy to fit in her beak and chew/demolish.
If you have some time, maybe try making some really simple toys that are basically foot toys and then hang them in the cage.
I think it makes sense for most of the toys to be up high near the top perches in the cage because that's most likely where your bird spends most of its time. And position them so they they are easy to reach from a perch.
But probably just leave her toys in the cage and wait a while and she might start to play with them eventually.
Hope this helps!

I have a Zon that doesn't like toys. He gives a toy the "beak" and then backs off. Every pet/bird store that I go in I have been buying him toys to try and get him interested in toys. He just looks at them. He isn't afraid of them. He doesn't like treats either. He might or might not take a treat from me and 1 out of 4 times he might taste it but usually he just drops it. He even does that with sunflower seeds. I have pine nuts and pistachios to try tonight or tomorrow.

My other Zon's favorite toy is a loofah.

My conure loves his toy with a bell on the end.
