Hi, i recently bought the dehydrator sedona.
But my mother thinks it is to noisy and should b moved to my room.
Could it harm my birds?
I bought the sedona because it is bpa free and the sheets i bought are bpa and Teflon free.

Thank you

Nobody? I don't think it is bad for them but just wanted to be sure.

I would be interested to know. If it is BPA free and teflon free I would think it would be ok, essentially a dehydrator is just a heat and air circulation system. Where you may run into health risks is if you use preservatives for your food. Most people who use dehydrators dip the food in some sort of preservative prior to dehydrating. If you do, research the fumes from that particular preservative. If you are only planning to store the food for 6 months or less, you can skip that part all together and I would think it would be perfectly safe then. However, if it makes you nervous, perhaps a different room such as the laundry room or garage might be a good alternative.

people usually use lemon juice to preserve the color.
I don't however,i just don't like the taste of it,i vacuum seal it so it can last longer.
This way i can buy organic in bulk when it is on sale,so my birdies can have organic without having me going broke.
The laundry room and our garage are to drafty and wet for the dehydrator unfortunately.
