Digital water colouring? High-quality drawing apps for free(pc)?

I have been really interested in trying digital water painting/colouring, what are some tips that you guys who have tried it before would recommend?

Also, what are some high-quality drawing apps for free? I currently use Krita..

Strange, I don't seem to find PC version..

I use firealpaca the only downside about this program is that it kind of glitches when you resize it but overall, it's a pretty good program
