Parrot of the Month 🏆

This month's theme is inspired by today, February 1st,
being Robinson Crusoe day in the US.

If you aren't familiar with the story, it's the tale of a man shipwrecked on a deserted island for 28 years, and was based on a true story. Many books and movies have been based on Robinson Crusoe in the years since.

This month, share the ways your parrot would survive on a deserted island!

For example, Ope will break into any abandoned (or NOT so
abandoned!) buildings and look for hidden food stashes:

He'll also carry supplies to his chosen campsite and start a pile, flying great distances and climbing huge mountains:

Cotton will keep a watchful eye out for danger:

And will ensure any scaries STAY AWAY:

Sunny will be cute and fluffy and will befriend the local animals... even if they are a bit strange.... :ROFLMAO: :

Fang ({ab}normal grey cockatiel), Valentino (budgie), Jem (cinnamon cockatiel), Lovejoy(varied lorikeet), Peach (princess parrot)
Official Entry:

This is Fang. He is the elder statesman of my flock, and does not suffer fools gladly. He is sooooo fed up with having to share me, and much more importantly his dad, with young interlopers such as Jem, Valentino and now Lovejoy. So fed up is he in fact that were he to find himself all alone on Robinson Crusoe's island, he would take whatever steps necessary to rid said island of Mr Crusoe, his man Friday, plus any and all others who may intrude upon his much sought after solitude, irrespective of how extreme those steps may be!

(Please note, no raspberries were murdered for the production of this photo. Isn't that right Fang?

"Raspberries?? Ooohhhh yeah, that's right .... raspberries ..... ;)" ) :eek::eek::eek:
