just wondering about flax seeds are they good in summer where temp rise upto 46 C.

i am on the way of reducing CAG consumption of sunflower seeds, should i introduce flax seeds. somebody told me they are good for pluckers

Flax seeds are good unless you have a female bird. They are a phyto estrogen thus promoting egg laying. I feed hemp and chia seed mixed with unhulled sesame seeds for Omegas and calcium. Rosie loves them all. Yes, I keep in ref. all year long. Others may do this differently.

Flax seeds should be grounded.
