I know some of you like hearing updates about Folger boy. This one is not so happy. He passed away mid-April. Visually it seemed to be a heart attack or old age since he had been acting normally. Since he was a rescue he was anywhere from mid 20s into his 40s now & has had a stressful life, so it was both surprising but not so surprising to find him gone so soon. It’s very quiet around here without the scoldings about noise when the humans are too loud or the Hi Folgies from him.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this terribly sad news! It's always a shock when they pass, even if as you say it wasn't entirely surprising. Folger was so blessed to have spent so much time being loved and cared for by you, I only wish it could have been more. My very deepest condolences to you for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Foulger looks so beautiful and happy. I'm so pleased that he had you to love him in his last years.
A bird's passing leaves a massive hole in your heart that only parrot people can understand.

I am so sorry for your loss. As stated above, the loss of a parrot is very difficult and painful. They are such a part of our daily life and are capable of such love. RIP.

Folger reminds me of Eric "the Legend" in YT vids..full of life and mischief! So sorry to read about his passing Victoria :15: May you R.I.P Folger,and fly high and have fun with Smokey and Max and the so many others that have crossed Rainbow Bridge..
